We Rocked That Wall.

A couple weeks ago, Chase and I went on a fun, little date to The Quarry, where we finally got to ROCK CLIMB! I had been looking forward to doing this for sooo long and boy oh boy my expectations were far exceeded. Our darling friends Kam and Kylie came along and showed us the ropes. We got strapped into our harnesses, learned how to tie a knot, chalked our sweaty palms, squished our toes into the tightest shoes and climbed the hardest wall we could find.  I loved every second of it! I'm sure the Quarry will be seeing a lot more of us.

To top things off, we took Kam and Ky to our new favorite little dessert place called "Awful Waffle" mmm it is awfully delicious. We love you guys! Thanks for the fun night!

If You Need a Good Laugh.

My favorite kind of humor comes from little kids.  I really think they are downright hilarious! The best part is that they don't have any idea how funny they are really being. This video cracks me up every time I watch it. It is from last Halloween yet, chase and I STILL quote it.
Because it's THAT good.

Spiritually Fed.

Chase and I had a complete blast with our family in town(but that's to be expected). We were so excited that we couldn't stop telling each other how excited we were. haha dorks. It really is such a treat to be able to spend time with them. Lucky for us, we got to see them twice in one month!
Since Chase's birthday is right around the corner, he got SPOILED. His parents bought him new clothes, shoes, tires for his car and the new IPHONE 5. Wahh! Yesterday, Chase look down at his new phone and said in the most serious voice,
"...its just so pretty."
I have to admit... it really is. But for the record, Siri knows she will never be Chase's number one. And she also knows exactly who 'her masters' wife is. Good Siri.

Within a second that the prophet walked in, I felt his sweet spirit. Chills ran up my spine until I squeezed Chase's hand a little tighter. ah, There is just something about being able to watch conference in person that makes it that much more special. I left that place with clear understanding of the saviors love for me. He seems to always answer my questions and send me away with new personal goals. I am so grateful for the time we were able to spend with the people we love most, while listening to the ones who love us most.

Its Time For The Weekend. Huzzb.

it's dropped to 60 degrees here in Utah this past week.
i really don't want fall to go by too fast! The thought of snow breaks my heart just a little.
i am super anxious to go play in the colorful leaves.
luckily, we we have a date planned up the canyon.
Annnnd the time has come when we gotta start brain storming on a good Halloween costume.

I am looking forward to the weekend because Chase's parents are coming in town!
This means we will spend our Saturday eating lots of yummy food and shopping at City Creek
Not to mention, conference is this weekend! eeek! I can't wait to be in the tabernacle and feel the sweet spirit.

You Are One Year Older!

Our family had two special birthdays in September. My darling mom and sister Brianna. Man oh man, these two make my world go around. Chase and I loved celebrating their special days with them. Happy Birthday you two!!

I am extremely grateful for my Mom. I love her with all my heart. She is one of my very best friends. My mom is such a good example to me. She is so good at making sure everyone is always happy and things are running smoothly. She has such a tender heart. The littlest things fill her eyes with tears. My mom see's beauty in everyone and everything. I am so grateful for her positive outlook on life. I just wish that one day I could at least be half the woman that she is today.

I owe everything to my sweet mom. But I especially owe her for:

-Not a single broken bone or stitches. She always made sure I looked both ways and never ran with a fork in my mouth. We called her a "worry wart" but I'm sure thankful that someone always watched out for me.
-Giving my the gospel. This is the greatest gift she could have ever given me. She has the strongest testimony and it shines right through her. She taught me at a young age the importance of going to church and living the gospel to its fullest.
-Giving me "the water works" Everytime I cry over something sentimental, I know exactly where that gene came from. :)
-Giving me her creative hands. She is so crafty and can make anything look adorable.
-For making me a gamer. haha oh man, it is not a secret that she loves games and so do I. We are both always down for a fun board game.
-Giving me her feet. Chase and I always laugh about how we have the exact same toesies. They are a perfect reminder of her!
-For always being there for me. Through the thick and thin, she is always there.

I Love You Mom!

Isn't she so pretty? Gosh I love that lady.
Happy 25th Birthday! haha

Here we have little Miss bumble bee's birthday. I cannot help but get teary eyed when I think of BB. I always say that I am convinced her heart is made of pure gold. It is really hard to not love this girl.  My favorite memory of her is when I was in middle school. She would beg me to wake her up at 5:00am just to help me get ready for school. We always had a goal to get ready as fast as we could just so we could have enough time to play a game(told you i am a gamer). I will never forget breaking out the Uno cards at six in the morning before I had to leave for school. haha She is seriously the best. Bb is ALWAYS happy and probably the most giving person in this entire world. I am so grateful I get her in my life forever!

Love you BBi Chocolate Milk!

Hey, Who'd You Learn That From?

Chase and I have been married for a little over a year now and I cannot help but laugh when I notice little things we have picked up from each other. I mean, its only been one year and we are practically finishing each others sentences. I cant even image what we will be like in the next five, or ten years... you may have to call us Siamese twins! ha! I love that boy so much. I am extremely grateful that we are always on the same page and that he always understands. Like Always.

What Chase Has Picked Up From Me:
-Cleaning the house is way better with music on
-If there is a spider in the house, just kill it. It's not funny to mess with spiders
-We can still be happy after having a splurge eating day. And pazookies are worth the splurge.
-Making to do lists is necessary for getting things done.
-Milk is dang good...Especially if its cold
-Grab your towel BEFORE you get in the shower so you don't have to run around like your head is cut off
-Ending every convo on the phone with "talk to ya soon" or "keep in touch"
-Adding "so much" to the end of every phrase.. "thank you so much, love you so much..etc."

What I Have Picked Up From Chase:
-Sleeping with a fan is actually pretty great
-How to buy ONLY healthy food at the grocery store. No snacks
-Waking up at 5 am to go to the gym actually does get easier and it is theeee best way to start a day.
-Asparagus and pizza crust are friends, not foes
-Its much easier to concentrate while having a concentration face. (I pucker my lips all the time)
-There is such thing as going over board with sweets and it makes me feel crummy.
-Dancing in the shower is kinda fun
-Only one alarm is needed to wake up. (Still haven't mastered this one)

you are the cheese to my macaroni, husband. i love you.
