To The Chef I Love,

                   There are countless reasons why I absolutely love being a wife.  I think it's because it comes along with having a husband....haha (duh) We have been married for a little over nine months and I still don't think it has completely settled in. Chase and I still say "I cannot believe were married!!" haha we are such dorks. But I am not going to lie....it has been a HUGE adjustment. I never realized how much busier my life could get! As soon as we got married I remember feeling a little overwhelmed. (I still get overwhelmed)  It's hard to get in a routine of making full on dinners every night, doing laundry for two, budgeting money to pay for bills, making sure the house is clean and organized. As well as finding time to go to school, study, go to the gym, work AND have a little "us" time.  I really don't think I could do it all without Chase!
                   One of my favorite things about him is how great he can cook! My goodness, I will totally admit that he is a way better cook than I am. This kid pulls off "restaurant type" meals and he thoroughly enjoys it! I love our part of the day where we can spend time bonding in the kitchen. He has taught me more than I ever knew! The best part is that everything he cooks is healthy and so yummy. So today, I would like to thank my personal little Chef!

Happy Mothers Day!!

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful women in my life! I feel so blessed!
I am especially grateful for my own mom! We have become extremely close over the past year. I cannot even go a couple days without calling that lady. She really is the best! I'm convinced that her heart is made of gold. I would not be the person I am today, without her! I love my mama!

I am also grateful for my darling mother-in-law! I really feel like I am one of her daughters, I got so blessed to marry into such a perfect family. Terry is such a well rounded person and she would do anything for anyone. I'm just grateful to have her as our mom!! We love you!!









I have no idea how I got so lucky... but for some reason I got completely spoiled this mothers day!! I am not complainin' and no I am not pregnant!! I just love my cute husband. He got me a bouquet of gorgeous flowers, a darling note and some new sexy running shoes. I am in LOVE!!! It really was a wonderful mothers day.....I guess I could get used to this mothers day shin dig.

It's Those Little Moments...

I don't mean to get too deep but I just cant help but write about those little moments. You know, the moments when your wrapped up around each other and cant help but say those three words over and over and over. You never wanna let go and just cant stop smiling at each other. Or its those little moments when your in the car singing Dixie Chicks at the top of our lungs which ends in the longest laugh, one of those laughs where you never think your going to stop and catch your breath and the second you do, you start laughing all over again.  That one moment that I look forward to each day when he walks right through that door from a long day at work. We cant help but kiss each other all over. Its the little moments when I look over at him while were in the temple together... I cant stop tears from streaming down my face cause I have never loved someone so much in my entire life.  Ahhh those little moments... They keep me going... and remind me that LIFE IS SOOO GOOD. I have the best husband that any wife could ask for.

OUR FIRST LOVE DAY.

AH! What a fun weekend! It was full of surprises, celebrations, shopping, sledding, family, yummy food, snow and just time well spent. Chase and I have been crazy busy so we officially celebrated Valentines this past weekend. It was definitely one of the best valentines I have ever had. I owe it all to chase and his romantic date planning. I love that boy so much!

HAPPY 1ST VALENTINES CHASER!!

We woke up in the morning to the sweet smell of pancakes and sausage, then we went up to soldier hollow and went sledding. We ended our date by eating a romantic dinner on main street in Park City. It was in one word... perfect.

The 12 "LAYS" of valentines day was a hoot!!

HAPPY FEBRUARY!!!

Mmm... I am so pleased with this month.

Its the month of LOVE.

Heres to: snow, warm clothes, valentines, sledding, hearts, hot chocolate, movie nights, the super-bowl, forts, warm clothes, take out, school, one month closer to summer, and to BEING IN LOVE!

Im mostly grateful for my sweet valentine. So lucky that he is mine every year. xoxo

I've Got Sunshine...On A Cloudy Day!

     Today I feel inspired, touched, blessed and loved. I came across this little gem and It was a great reminder of how I should be living my life. I feel like it is easy to forget how much I have been blessed. Its easy to forget about talents and gifts that were specifically given to me.
